(1) After receiving the application in accordance with Rule 5, the committee shall investigate whether the project proposed to be developed by the consumer organization is suitable for development from the economic and technical point of view, and after consulting with the related bodies in this regard, if the committee finds it suitable to develop the project, then the committee shall register the consumer organization. The consumer organization should give the certificate of registration to the applicant in the format as per schedule-2.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), if it is not possible to register the consumer organization during the inquiry and consultation, the committee shall provide the applicant with the reason.
